Polymer Clay

All my earrings are made from scratch and are subject to slight variation in color/design/shape due to its handmade nature. Therefore, they are all unique in their own way and no two earrings will be exactly the same.

Polymer clay is incredibly lightweight, and you will forget you are wearing earrings most of the time, especially if there are no brass pieces included. Polymer clay is very durable and won’t break if dropped, but please don’t bend them! Be gentle with them as they’re still fragile!

Sensitive ears? No problems! All my posts and metals are nickel free!

Also all the backs are glued with resin to ensure they won’t pop off.

Make-up and dirt can be removed from the clay with q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Brass pieces may tarnish and darken over time, and can also be cleaned with a jewelry cloth or a tarnish remover.

14K Gold Fill

14k Gold Fill is a high quality, affordable alternative to Solid Gold. There is a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a base metal, usually brass. This metal type gives you the look and feel of a solid gold piece of jewelry at a much more affordable cost.

Gold Fill has 100x more gold alloy than Gold Plated and because this layer of gold is much thicker it means that 14k Gold Filled jewelry last longer and doesn't tarnish easily.

Your 14k Gold Fill Jewelry can last a lifetime if properly cared for! Avoid direct contact with pool water, perfumes and lotions, as they can oxidize your jewelry (shower and ocean water are ok!)

Lightly clean your pieces using a soft toothbrush with mild soapy water. Dry pieces off completely and clean with a jewelry polishing cloth. It's important to store pieces in a dry, airtight place, like a ziplock bag.

The soldering process can expose the base metal of 14k Gold Fill, and this might result in a dark spot appearing at the solder point, that can easily be cleaned with a polishing cloth.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, which increases its hardness and strength.

Although sterling silver is quite resistant, it can be subject to tarnishing. The good thing is that you can easily polish it with the polishing cloth included with every order :)

I handcraft every piece, which means they might have slightly variations, especially if it has a natural stone (oh, the beauty of nature).
